day off

A nice thing happened today. I talked to the guy from the long term disability company. It was a pleasure to tell him that I didn't need his services. The short term ended on the 25Th of Dec. and I went back on the 26Th of December. I had the day off today and tomorrow, believe it or not, but I'm seeing the doctor again on Thursday for my pinky. I hope that it's healed enough so that they can take out the stitches. It looks ok and it would look a lot nicer too. My day off list was a little longer today, but by tomorrow I will have walked through it pretty well.
Finally, I got the fire department reports caught up to year end. The chief is not a computer guy, so they hadn't been done since the middle of September. They are incident reports on each call that we have to file with the state. After each call we do up a basic report on paper, then we try to do up a more elaborate version on the computer for the state. The funniest thing about it was that I did the report for the call at my house for me.... Well I know everyone to thank....
